We drove an Escalade Platinum and an M5 Competition (pics attached) 3.5 hours to trade towards a new Suburban after receiving trade-in quotes. If you enjoy bait and switch and shady practices, this is the dealership for you. This place gives a bad name to the business as a whole. yeah who wants a 650hp all wheel drive Hellcat killer? They made personal digs and tried to leverage our warranty return $ as a benefit in their deal.that is our business and has nothing to do with them.what a joke. One dealership drove from MO to pick it up.įreedom also asked why we even wanted a 4x4 and why I ever bought an M5 Competition. We ended up getting 7% elsewhere and sold both vehicles to separate dealerships for a total of $6k more. They also overquoted our local taxes by $4000 and said we would get a 10% interest rate with an excellent score (770). It was also priced $5k over their listing for it in CarTrader. It had a recall that needed repaired first. Not only that, we couldn't even take the Suburban home if we had been foolish enough to make a deal. Instead, they claimed they would have to sell them to a national auction/wholesale buyer. If they will take a US Military Veteran for $200.00, what will they take you for? I'm am not having it, Honor & Integrity. Beware of these reviews, there are many "rip-off" stories, buried in the "glowing reviews" that attempt to overshadow them, (most of which all seem to read the same) Either way, as a US Marine Corps Veteran, having tried to do honest business with "freedom Chevrolet", I feel I have no alternative, and am now compelled to pursue a cause of action to force the recovery of my legal and just refund, along with maximum allowable costs & expenses. We'll it's been over a month now, and all I've gotten from them is a runaround, transferring me around to full v/m boxes, leaving me on indefinite hold, or "dropping my call" all together. When I brought the core back, (a 2.5hr round trip as THEY were the only dealer had it in stock), they refused to return my cash deposit, refused to issue a check, claimed I'd have to wait "a week or two". Dealer owes me $200.00 on a core return, (for a $1,400.00 alternator), I paid cash for the part & cash deposit.
